Sovereign Summit Brings Saylor, Brunell and Booth to Miami's Fontainebleau in February 2027

Miami has not hosted a major Bitcoin conference in two or three years. That changes in February, when a new event called the Sovereign Summit takes over the Fontainebleau Miami Beach for four days. Simply Bitcoin spoke with the summit's organizer, identified on the show only as Eddie, about what he is building.
THE DATES AND THE PITCH
The Sovereign Summit runs Thursday through Sunday, February 4 to 7, 2027, at the Fontainebleau, an oceanfront resort on Miami Beach. The organizer described the event's framing as sovereignty across AI, energy and money, built to pull in an audience beyond core Bitcoiners, including people interested in wellness and longevity, under the idea that sovereignty means knowing your options and choosing your own trade-offs rather than following a single script.
WHY THE FONTAINEBLEAU
The organizer said he ruled out a traditional convention center from the start, wanting instead an all-in-one resort where attendees could eat, sleep, network and party without leaving the property. That ruled out most Miami venues except the Fontainebleau. A discounted room block rate has been arranged for out-of-town attendees.
HOW THE DAYS BREAK DOWN
Thursday, February 4 opens with a beginner-focused Bitcoin fundamentals session followed by a VIP welcome reception and a VIP-only rooftop party that night. Friday and Saturday are the two full conference days, each with its own VIP evening event, including an oceanfront VIP night on Friday and a general afterparty on Saturday that organizers say could land at Miami nightclub LIV, though that is not yet confirmed. The weekend closes with a farewell brunch on Sunday.
THE SIZE, ON PURPOSE
The venue caps the event at 1,000 total attendees: 200 VIP tickets, 750 general admission, and 50 speakers. The organizer said that ceiling is deliberate, meant to keep the event from becoming the kind of sprawling conference where attendees lose each other and have to shuttle between venues. Ticket prices are set to rise as the event approaches, with increases announced roughly a week ahead of time.
WHO IS CONFIRMED SO FAR
Announced speakers include Strategy founder and executmichael Saylor, Coin Stories host Natalie Brunell, Jeff Booth and Sam Callahan, with more names to come. The organizer said the goal beyond Bitcoin-specific speakers is to bring in voices who can speak to AI and energy more broadly, not just Bitcoin mining, to match the event's wider sovereignty framing.
THE PITCH FOR FEBRUARY
The organizer pointed to timing as much as venue: February is one of the few stretches when Miami's weather is reliably comfortable rather than brutally hot, while most of the country is still cold. Tickets and further speaker announcements are being posted at thesovereignsummit.com.
